Harness Workshop (Beginner)

From 15:00-16:00 please be early as we start teaching at 15:00.

No need to bring anything.

Prepaid at sign-up, room for 8 people.

About the workshop:

Learn to build a harness that fits you perfectly.

All kinds of beginners are welcome, the workshop is very easy.

We will be using thin decorative leather, so you will get a chance to finish your harness the same day (skipping the many hours of leather work you will need to do with thicker materials)

We will bring everything you need for your harness. 

Fixed selection:

You can choose between 10 differently priced designs and 3 widths of straps. Please request a few colors you would enjoy and we will see what we can do when we have gathered all requests.

You can not bring your own leather and stuff for this workshop hour, but you can after, as accommodating too many variations will become too difficult for us to manage. 

There will be no buckles, just heavy duty snap studs. The O-rings will be silver (nikkel).

To avoid chaos you have to stay committed to your choice, and not start making new design choices along the way, please.

All this must be pre-chosen and pre-paid so we will know what to bring, and so you are ready to begin the project.

It will be as cheap as we can make it. Note that we don’t make any money on this.

We are trying our best to be size inclusive. This means you all pay the same and therefore don’t have to worry about paying for each cm at the workshop – and you can just enjoy crafting without worrying about prices. We have calculated some fair prices that hopefully doesn’t mean we end up losing money on hosting this. Leather is expensive and so are all the little metal bits.

Color: Please request a few colors and we will gather what people want and what’s realistic within the price range. Your wish might not come true in the most perfect way, so try to keep an open mind.

How to sign up:

Choose harness design and strap thickness. Maximum two designs per person. Think of colors you would like for your harness.

Send a message to SAMTYKKELUDER on fetlife with your choices and thoughts on color.

After writing with her, you will receive a MobilePay number. When you have paid what your design costs you are signed up. 

Only 8 people can sign up. 

If you don’t have mobilepay, contact SAMTYKKELUDER.

Practical:

• It will get really loud from hammering studs, so bring something for your ears. 

• Bring patience, because you will be waiting your turn with the tools.

• You can not make a harness for someone who is not present at the workshop, since we need to try it on many times as we build it.

Bring your own materials (studs, snaps, buckles, leather, rings, whatever your project needs).

You are welcome to borrow tools from us, but we will only be bringing a few.

Your hosts are only helping, you have to make the decisions and do the actual work yourself.
